How to Set Up Authenticator 2FA (Typical Flow)
- Open Bitbuy account settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
- Pick “Authenticator App” and scan the displayed QR code with your app.
- Enter the one-time code shown in your authenticator to confirm.
- Securely store the backup/recovery codes provided — offline only.
Pro tip: Store backup codes offline (paper/metal). Don’t screenshot them or store them in cloud notes.
